A perfect place to make a stop and encounter oneself.
In the courtyard of the Frederic Marès museum there's an idyllic space. A peaceful corner in Barcelona's Gothic quarter, far from the city's more commercial streets and much closer to the art, the quiet and the enchanting beauty of the gothic architecture.
We have new menu options every week
We have all traditional tapas, but we also have a constantly changing selection of new items to surprise you.
The Frederic Màres museum is a place to share your passion for art, history and beauty.
A collection of objects and medieval sculptures that has expanded in size since its opening in 1948. A priceless gift that its founder, the Catalan sculptor Frederic Màres (1893-1991), gave to the city of Barcelona and that every day many customers of our Cafe enjoy visiting.
We recommend that you begin your visit at the Colectionists Cabinet in the rooms on the second and the third floor. Afterwards you can stroll down to see the other collections.
